17%AL2O3 Inert Alumina Ceramic Balls are the most widely used catalyst support media, valued for consistent quality and dependable performance. They are produced from high-quality chemical-porcelain clay materials, which give excellent stability, high mechanical strength, and resistance to thermal shock, making them suitable for supporting all types of catalyst. They are used in the petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, gas, and environmental protection industries, where they serve in reactors as support and covering material as well as tower packing. The balls resist high temperature and high pressure, have low water absorption, and show stable chemical behavior. They withstand attack by acids, alkalis, and organic solvents and endure temperature changes during operation. Their principal function is to increase gas-liquid distribution points and to support and protect catalysts of lower mechanical strength.
