There is point contact between the packing or between the packing and the wall of the tower, and no stacking is produced. The pores are uniform, the resistance is small, and the orientation is arranged when the pile is piled up, so also have structured packings characteristics, and has good fluid mechanics and mass transfer properties.

Plastic tower packing can be made from heat resistant and chemical corrosion resistant plastics, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PÁGINAS), polipropileno reforzado (RPP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polyvinyiidene fluoride (PVDF) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The temperature in media ranges from 60 Degree C to 280 Degree C.
