It mainly uses in the electricity gas stove and the furnace cupola, as the deoxidizer, and uses in the casting and the steel-making industry (special steel, stainless steel, T system iron, G system iron, factories and so on K system iron all may use). Heighten the temperature in the blast furnace, shorten the melting time, enhances the steel and iron output, plays roles on carbon raising, deoxidizing, silicon adding, elevation of temperature etc, and also may be the substitute of ferrosilicon. At the same time, dust pollution will not occurs during throwing in the stove, the reaction speed is high, the cost is low, it is really a new way in the steel-making process.

1, The useful metal oxide can be deoxidized to original metal which may be absorbed in the steel, reduces the wastage of molten steel, enhances the output.

2, Because silicon carbide element oxidation may produces the reaction heat energy, which may reduce the consumption of the electricity, and shorten the operating time.

3, Using Silicon carbide ball in manufacturing the manganese steel and the chrome steel may reduce the consumption of manganese and chromium.
